I understand that you see chickens on your dinner plate, but I see them as a companion. You might think that chickens are loud and will wake up the house, yet not all chickens wake up people. Male chickens are the ones that crow the most, females do too just not as much and loud.

Father, you might think think chickens are hard to take care of, but they are simple to take care of. You simply: supply food & water, clean out their cage once a week, wash them once a month, and get their eggs every morning.

I know you think chickens are highly costly, but I will show you ho they are not. The average American spends 56 dollars on eggs each year, but chickens produce eggs. When you do the math you spend 48 dollars on feed for the chickens. When we first get chickens it will be a bit of a cost, since we would have to get a coop and a feeder.
