-Nickname: Maid of Orleans


- She felt lead by God to join the war


-Authorized by Charles VII to lead an army against the English.


-Lead the French to many victories.


-On May 23, 1430, she was captured at Compiègne by the Burgundian faction. After Cauchon declared her guilty of witchcraft she was burned at the stake on May 30, 1431. Dying at 19 years old.


-She convinced the king to let her lead the French against the English.


-She pushed English enemies out of France.
