Spouse: Catherine Vance Freeman he had 4 kids.

Served: WW 1 & 2, Commander in Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet.

Admiral Nimitz and his wife died due to an over dose of sleeping pills. Strangely his sun also committed suicide and jumped off a cliff.
