Description: vertical swimmers (unless startled), pointed nose and tail, stripe that runs the length of its body.

Adaptations: head-down-tail-up swim style, hides among sea urchins.

Habitat: photic zone of ocean, among kelp and sea urchins

Diet: phytoplankton and planktonic crustaceans

Status: not threatened
