- I do agree with the philosophy that faith can cure problems. In example, Laura Hillenbrand states, "They bowed their heads together as Louie prayed," (Hillenbrand 159). Later, on pages 160-163, a plane does come, but their hope grows weak, because of the fact it was an enemy plane.

- Going on, as Ms. Hillenbrand states on page 163, "Impossibly, though, there were bullet holes all the way around the men, even in the tiny spaces between them, not on bullet hit either man," (Hillenbrand 163). Also, as I see it, from their prior prayer session, it could be seen as a result of faith.
