Salmonella Prevention

Freezing does not kill salmonella bacteria, it shuts the microbes down temporarily. Once you warm them up they activate the microbes. To prevent Salmonella you should cook all meats thoroughly, avoid eating or drinking foods that have raw or unpasteurized eggs or dairy products.
