- Most of families decorate their houses with Christmas colors and all ornaments, but the most important is the Nativity, this is not missing in any home! There may not be a Christmas Tree but will be the Nativity. Big families have the Baby Christ that has been from generations in the family and is the main icon of the decoration.

- Nine days before December 25 is the famous “Novena” and this is very special for the Catholic Religion ,each day the family gather at night in front of the Nativity and they tell the story of what happened before Baby Jesus was born, they read a part from the bible, then pray, sing special Christmas songs and then have a little snack that is served by the owner of th house. This is done 9 days before Christmas and on December 24 Baby Jesus is born, all family gather for a final pray and have a special dinner.

FAMILY TIME FOR CHRISTMAS
