Diseases of the system

1: pneumonia is an infection in the alveoli comment caused by bacteria and viruses. The inflamed alveoli will fill up with fluid and dead bacteria(pus) and breathing becomes difficult. Patients come down with fever, chills, and pain, coughing up phlem and somtimes blood.

2: emphysema is caused by smoking. the walls of the alveoli blend together and form large air pockets which air cannot escape and if it continues it can and will cause respiratory failure.

3:Bronchitis(acute or chronic) is an inflammation of the bronchi. Acute bronchitis is caused by a cold, flu, bacteria, smoking, and air pollution. Chronic bronchitis is caused by air pollution, and tobacco smoke.
