Generalization and In-situ Training

aka: “Real life” training

After a child performs the task they should be trained more generally, and then asked what they should do in the situation.

This ensures that the child:

1. Knows what they’re supposed to do

2. Can perform the task

3. Can execute the task in future situations away from the learning setting
