Thomas Jefferson- Declaration of Independence
Speaker- Thomas Jefferson; Founding Father and Principal Author of the Declaration of Independence
Audience- trying to reach British Parliament mainly and also the American Colonists
Subject- independence, government freedom, and liberation
Purpose- to get freedom from England
Context- colonists were getting more and more fed up with England because of all of the new policies they were putting on them. This anger eventually led to the Revolutionary War, which then led to the creation of the Declaration of Independence.
