Zebra: stays in higher grasses to hide, feed almost entirely on grasses, but may occasionally eat shrubs, herbs, twigs, leaves and bark. Their digestive systems allow them to eat on diets that are lower in nutritional quality than other herbivores.

THREE ADAPTATIONS

Elephants: Easley adapted because they are large, so animals don't hurt them very much, they have thin skin so they don't get as hot, they have trunks to pick things up, and attack predators when they have to

Lions: Perfectly designed for life on the plains

-coloration blends in well with grass there

-living in prides helps them to obtain prey in areas that do not provide much cover

-Prefer hotter temperatures
