How many galaxies have different planets

In our galaxy the Milky Way there are around a 100 billion planets, the average number of planets per star is greater than one. It means that there are minimum 1,500 planets within just 50 light years of the Earth. But the real thing is that no one knows the answer for this, there are a lot of galaxies that scientist might don't know.

The sun is one about 200 billions stars just in the Milky. But those stars are from other Solar System that scientist haven't studied. A astronomer called Peter Van Kamp, discover planets outside of our solar system in 1971.
