Real world problem

A group of people are going on a road trip and they want to know how many minutes it will take to drive one miles So here is a chart showing how many minutes it takes to drive a mile (s). So the first one shows 5 mins for 15 miles. And the next one 8 mins for 24 miles. And so on all the way down to 19 min for 57 miles.. So we are trying to find the constant and proportionality of the rate of change for this chart!

So in order to find it you have to put 15/5 (15 over 5) and divide and you will get 3. Then you are going to do the same for everyone of those. You will soon figure out that all of them equal 3. So then your constant and proportionality is 3 min per mile.
