Important Rivers

India has many important lakes and rivers, but here are some of the most important ones. Arguably the most important River of the Indus River civilization is the Indus River. The Indus River runs a 2,000 mile course originating in the Tibetan Plateau and through Ladakh. This was the longest river in Pakistan. Another important river of the Indus people is the Ganges River. The Ganges is a River witch flows through India and Bangladesh. The River Is 2,525 km long and rises in the western Himalayas.
