This has a big impact to he book. Zach Harrimans dad gave a coin to Zachary for good luck. Zachs father also had a coin that was just like this one when he died. Zachs grandpa that he doesn't know found the coin at his fathers crash sight and gave it to Zach. Zach thought that these coins gave him powers after his grandpa gave them to him. They were glowing and Zach didn't know what this meant. These coins helped Zach go through all the fights he fought and all the hard times he went through. But he threw them into Central Park because he was so mad at his dad and thought that he shouldn't of trusted his father. This coin represents a lot in the story.
