We took our data from the survey (observed counts) and put them in Matrix A

Then went to Stat - Tests - C X^2 Test...

Hit calculate and received the following numbers:

~ X^2 = 23.62

~ P - value = .000001173

~ Degrees of freedom (df) = 1. ((2-1)x(2-1))

~ N (number of students) = 147

~ We had previously chose level of significance to be 5% or 0.05

* .000001173 < .05 Yes!

Reject the null hypothesis (Ho)
