EVOLUTION OF KABADDI

This sport was first and commonly played in India.

In 1950 the AIKF was established and since then the game has majorly, unfortunately not as much as they hoped. In 1952 they set more firm rules and regulations for the game.

In 1955 the first mens national tournament was held and after a while the women tournament was organised. AKFI was made in 1973 to grow the sizes and make it a more national played sport.
