• regulations specific to some countries apply to all, makes things difficult.

•Threatens Greek national identity

•less control over what is made/sold over their borders

•Greek individuals say they have a loss of sovereinity

•outside countries can influence Greek decisions

•hard to withdraw once you have joined.

Can kick out government officials if needed!!
