Childhood and Education

~Joseph Goebbles was born October 29, 1897

~He had 2 brothers and 3 sisters

~Growing up, Joseph had a deformed foot that failed to be fixed resulting in being rejected by the army for WWI and wearing a metal brace with special shoes for the rest of his life.

~Goebbles was educated at a Christian Gymnasium. He was always at the top of his class and was given the honor of speaking for the class at his graduation ceremony.

~ When college came around, he studied history and literature at the universities of Bonn, Wurzburg, Freiburg, and Munich.

~ In the fall of 1924, Goebbels became district administrator of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP; National Socialist German Workers' Party, or the Nazi Party),
