Rising Action

The central part of the story during which various problems arise after a conflict is introduced.

The rising action is important in the story, because without it we wouldn’t really know why they were fighting. The rising actions in the story help us better understand what was happening in the story. It also helps build our interest, because we want to know exactly what is happening and how it resolves.
