Reasons why the problem persists

Poverty is the main challenge in developing countries. Most people live on two dollars and fifty cents per day to provide for their families.

Teachers teach what they know. Therefore the ongoing cycle of poor education continues through each generation.

Because of a lack of education, people are not able to get jobs and pay taxes. Therefore the economy suffers and it's primarily used for defense and education gets cut out.
