Usually the stigma involved with STD/STI’s are discussed after the fact; the implication is that the stigma of having a sexually transmitted disease is by far the least problematic symptoms an individual suffers from.


The author puts forth this the stigma and social symptoms of contracting sexually transmitted diseases affects the individual in more assects of their life than any other symptom.


Many STI/STD’s change or perceive to change the life of the individual in many ways.
