-Disney had a vision of a park where families could go for fun and entertainment. He thought of it as a "magical park."

-In 1953, Disney bought 100 acres of land to build Disneyland. He would need to build rivers, waterfalls, mountains. The park would have flying elephants and spinning teacups, and of course a big castle.

-For financial support Disney went to TV. He had a TV series that showed some of the future project.

-When you enter the park, you come on to Main Street, USA.

-Some other parts of the park would be Adventureland, Frontierland to bring back the pioneer days, Fantasyland, where "dreams come true", and Tommorowland, a look at the future.
