Indian Removal Act
The Indian Removal Act was signed into law by Andrew Jackson on May 8 in 1830 . This had made clear that the Indians had to be removed from the Mississippi Western river to the east . Some tribes had not resisted or maybe just a bit but all did move away from the lands . All this did have good reason the United States were growing fast and we needed more space .
