Common Core WHST.6-8.8: Provide a concluding statement or section that follows from and supports the argument presented.

Observations

One of my observations where the pieces of chalk 1 and 2 got longer and heavier because the chalk absorbed the water. Also observed that the chalk in cup 2 started to fizz but it didn't dissolve completely like the chalk in cup 3. Another observation was the chemical reaction was the vinegar (acid) and the chalk (base) tried to neutralize each other and ended up in the vinegar eroded the chalk because chalk is a base and vinegar is an acid.
