Trust vs. Mistrust

Trust

I was born as a premature baby two months before I was planned to arrive, so the first 2 weeks and 2 days of my life was spent in an incubator. Nobody was able to touch or hold me and I was isolated in my container-like home for a while. Considering these conditions, one can assume that it was hard for me to trust people when I was not in the incubator, but I was gladly held by my family and trusted them. Me being able to trust others easily became a curse rather a blessing when it was taken advantage of in some situations growing up. These experiences has not turned me into a mistrusting person presently, but has taught me to be careful in who I trust.
