Last Antebellum
Track 9
Track 9 "Just a Kiss" by Lady Antebellum is a song that talks about two people eager to kiss each other and the kiss ends up being a great one. "My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss" (Act 1.5) Romeo says to Juliet very eager for her to kiss her "You kiss by th' book" (Act 1.5) said Juliet because Romeo was such a good kisser. In the song the writer sings "Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight" which is a kiss about to happen. "So hard to hold back when I'm holding you in my arms"
shows the eagerness of the singer to kiss the person he's holding.
Track 10 "The Trouble with Love is" by Kelly Clarkson is a song that personifies love and talks about what a horrible thing it is and what things it does like Romeo does when he's still not ever Rosaline. "Alas, that love, whose view is muffled still, should, without eyes, see pathway to his will!" (act 1.1) Romeo is stating how love is supposed to be blind yet it can control you. "Feather of led, bright smoke, cold fire, sick health" (Act 1.1) Romeo is so confused by love he uses all these contradictory terms to describe it. "The trouble with love is it can tear you up inside" sings Kelly. She's saying that love can make you feel like your being broken and torn into a million peaces. "The trouble with love is it doesn't care how fast you fall" in this part she means that love doesn't care how fast you are heartbroken but it will make you fall in love
