Sometimes in The Colosseum, there was boat battles. They flooded The Colosseum. There is a theory on how they did this. Apparently, they used a wood/timber structure to transport water from the main aquaduct. Supposedly it could fill The Colosseum up with up to five feet of water in 7 hours.
