Set designer

As a set designer you make the theatrical scenery for a play or production. A theatre should have a good mood and atmosphere, have a good style and tone, and it should be able to show what time period the play or production is taking place in, as a set designer you have to make sure all of this takes place. When set designers build their stage they go off a miniature 3D model given to them by the director.

Fact 5: the hours of a set designer will vary depending on the deadline of the play, so as a set designer you could be working 12 hours a day 7 days a week for a couple weeks.
