Early Career in Nazi Party

Amon joined a Nazi youth group at 17 years old. He then moved to a nationalist paramilitary group at 19 years old. In 1930, when he was 22, he joined the outlawed Austrian Nazi Party. In 1932, he joined the NSDAP, his party membership number was 510764 and he joined the SS in 1940, his SS number was 43673.
