Plot

In the exposition Louie takes up running and soon after joins the fight in world war 2 as a bomber

In the rising action Louie's plane goes down,

he floats on a raft for 47 days and gets captured by Japan

Louie gets beaten and mauled by the mean Japanese guards

The resolution is when Louie is freed from the prison and lives the rest of his life in peace

The climax is when the Japanese abandon on the POWs and they are spotted by American planes and rescued
