Verses-Dhammapada
215
From lust springs grief, from lust springs fear. For one who is wholly free from craving there is no grief: whence then fear?
If you lust you will have fear and grief. When you are complete free of lust there is no grief nor fear.
One who destroys life, utters lies, takes what is not given, goes to another man's wife, and is addicted to intoxicating drinks — such a man digs up his own root even in this world.
It is not right to steal, commit adultery, lie, and drink since it is unholy and is considered wrong.
