Human Environment Interaction

Deforestation fits into modification as a type of HEI because it is humans modifying the environment to fit their needs and wants by clearing the forest. The interaction between humans and the environment in this case is negative because humans are altering the forest negatively to benefit themselves and this is creating deforestation.
