Corporate worship in the early church centered on God's Word.

-The Scriptures were life to Moses and food to Jesus--Scriptures were essential and indispensable.

Word and Spirit:

The Word and Spirit are inseparable.

-ruah and pnuema: wind, breath, spirit; the breath of God

-Spirit and Word are connected like breath and speech.
