CODONS

Codons are a group of three nitrogen bases. Each codons codes for a different protein to be made by the ribosome.

Examples:

DNA~ ATG (that is one codon)

RNA~ CGU

URACIL

Uracil is a nitrogen base only used in RNA.

AMINO ACID

Amino acid is the basic building block of proteins.
