Holidays and Special Traditions

My family and I are a Christian family and we celebrate Christmas a little differently than most people do. On Christmas Eve, my family invites many of our relatives over and we celebrate Christmas Eve together. Then, I spend Christmas Eve night cleaning the house. Christmas morning, we open our presents like everyone else does but then we eat a Christmas lunch together after we have opened all our presents. Then we will always go see a movie or do something fun afterwards. My family and I also celebrate Thanksgiving. Every Thanksgiving my family and I will drive hours to San Angelo, Texas to spend Thanksgiving with our relatives. On Thanksgiving day, we have tons of food and pies set out on the table while everyone is watching football. Once all the food is ready we will say grace then eat the Thanksgiving meal. The day after Thanksgiving we will wake up early, eat a good breakfast, and then head back home.
