1. Dia de Los Muertos is on the 1st and 2nd days of November
2. The 1st of November is to honor dead infants and children while November 2nd is to honor adults.
3. The holiday is celebrated in public or private spaces. Most people go to graveyards to honor their loved ones.
4. In the graveyards people clean their loved ones graves and decorate them with flowers, candy, food, drinks ect.
5. People stay up all night honoring their loved ones.
6. To show their affections to their lost family, people paint their faces to look like skulls.
7. People decorate their houses with skulls as part of the tradition.
8. People also dance, eat traditional food, and just have fun parties on Dia de Los Muertos.
9. People believe that on the day of the dead their lost loved ones are with them celebrating too.
10. The day of the dead is a lot like when people who live somewhere other than Mexico go to visit their deceased ones graves.
11. Although people may think that it's a sad holiday it's really not.
