Getting Department Buy-in

Even in a relatively small institution, getting buy-in to expand the use of ePortfolios can be a challenge. 

Too often, the expanded ePortfolio effort is perceived as “extra work”

Solution: Focus on a Pioneer

After spreading his efforts among all the departments to little effect, our ePortfolio Coordinator is focusing on a single department this academic year. The result should be a better-established program within one department which can serve as a model for the others.
