Filippo Brunelleschi

Started out training as goldsmith and sculptor. He went on to teach at the Arte Della Seta, there he entered a competition proposed by lord Florence to design bronze doors for the Florence baptistery.

Brunelleschi did not win, his panel was rated equal and he withdrew.
