Vladimir Lenin

Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, otherwise known as Lenin, was a Russian communist revolutionary, politician and political theorist.

Lenin was inspired by Karl Marx's theory of communism.

He is often referred to the "Father of the Revolution."

Old Major

Just as Major died before the revolution took place, Lenin also died before he could see his followers carry on the work of reform.

Lenin was responsible for changing Russia into the USSR, just as Major was responsible for changing Manor Farm into Animal Farm.

Major is the father of the revolution that the animals took part in.
