Honey bees seem small and defenseless, right? Western honey bees really only have their stingers to protect themselves and their hives, but Japanese honey bees are much more fierce and have a very special way to protect themselves from invading hornets. Japanese honey bees will surround the hornet and vibrate quickly, building heat from their bodies, and slowly cooking the hornet until it dies!
