Major General involved(important back on these men)

One of the major generals involved in the battle of Yorktown was George Washington. George Washington was a very smart general for the Americans (Patriots) because he out smarted the British by pretending to attack New York. George Washington was born on February 22,1732 in Virginia. And he led the Continental Army to victory by using his brain to make quick complex plans that threw the British of course and caused his army that he was leading to win.

Another major generals involved in the battle of Yorktown was Lord Charles Cornwallis or General Cornwallis. General Cornwallis was a British commander he supported the Loyalists. Cornwallis was born on December 31,1783 in the United Kingdom. General Cornwallis seemed to have a tough personality but surprisingly he was the one who brought his army (The British Army) to surrender.

One of the French generals who formed alliance with the Americans who wanted to pull out a victory against the British as well because of some unfinished business that was conducted during the French and Indian War. Thus general was named Comte de Rochambeau who was born on July 21,1725. Together the French and Americans pulled out a victory using their formed alliance

The final general that we will be covering is Comte de Grasse who was another French general who also formed alliance with the Americans. Grasse was born on September 13,1722 and he and General Comte de Rochambeau were the two French generals who came to an alliance with the Americans and pulled out a victory.
