The Story of an Hour

Setting: Mainly takes place in a closed off room from the rest of the world with only one small window during the late 19th century.

POV: Third person

Conflict: Man vs. Society

Plot: A woman, now widow, is told of her husband's death then locks herself in her room and gets high off of the freedom she gets without marriage, only to find out her husband is alive, then die.

Mrs. Mallard - A woman with a heart problem who was not all too fond of being a married woman.

Mr. Mallard - A good kindly husband who took car of his wife.
