In this project direct current from a battery was used to operate the dance pad. The purpose is to show how electrons flow through a conductor to trigger a light and a sound device on each of the three pads.

The direct current electricity is the continuous movement of electrons from the negative area to the positive area of the circuit through wire conductors, from and back to the battery.
