Post Deer Population Growth

- In total 816 mountain lion, 20 wolves, 7,338 Coyotes, and 500 bobcats were killed for the preservation of the deer.

- The preservation of the deer ended in 1939 and the numbers went back down to normal.

- Today about 10,000 Kaibab Deer live in the Kaibab Plateau.
