Baroque Pd.
Peter Paul Rubens spread the Baroque. his masterpieces included bodies in violent motion, heavily fleshed nudes, dramatic use of light and shadow, and rich pigments to express emotions.
Gian Lorenzo Bernini completed St. Peter's basilica and designed the last colonnade.
Artemisia Gentileschi was first woman elected into Florence Academy of Design.
