Global warming is defined as "a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants." From the definition it doesn't seem that scary but global warming effects every single human, plant, animal, organisms, everything on earth. Many people don't believe that it is a real thing because of how it is portrayed by media. When people think of global warming they think of the earths temperature quickly jumping and setting on fire. That's not how it is. Global warming is something that happens slowly and if we don't do something now to fix it, we may never be able to reverse its affects. I chose this topic to try to inform myself the best I can to help influence others to make the step to change how they are to save every one and thing on earth.
