Economy during rev. War
The economy during the revolutionary war was hurting because we had the most fights in our state. We had stopped all trade with Britain and we had to pay for all of the war damages. Acts and taxes were still going on and plus we were at war with our monther country after it we had lost most of our money and land to farm. Plus the British had blockaded the harbor so we couldn't get the supplies. Also trade on industries ended. That is what caused taxes to increase.
