History of magic square

Magic square is a very simple and fun number game, yet it is challenging enough to exercise and strengthen the mind .The oldest known magic square is Luò shū. Luò shū originates in ancient China during the Xia dynasty in 2200 B.C. under the rule of Emperor Yu ,the founder of magic square. The game was founded when emperor yu was taking a stroll along the yellow river and discovered a turtle with a very unique numerical pattern on its shell and named the pattern Luò shū. Through out time many cultures have used magic square for astrology, divination, longevity, and prevention against diseases.
