How is this zoo separated?

This zoo is separated into 6 biomes. It is this way because every biome is very different from the other. They are diffent because of their given climates and weather.

Exhibit #1 is the Tundra Biome. The Tundra biome is extremely cold. The average temperature per year -40 degrees celsius to 18 degrees celsius The Tundra is also very dry.

Exhibit #2 is the Taiga biome. This biome is similar to the Tundra, but is just a tad warmer and is home to more plants and animals. One of the animals in the Taiga is home to our Long-eared owls, which only live in the Taiga and no where else. Another thing that sets the Ta iga apart from the others is it is home to the most Softwood trees. These trees are used to make most of the paper we use on a daily basis.

Exhibit #4 is the Deciduous forest. This biome is very unique because it is the only biome that has four seasons. These four seasons are spring, summer, winter, and fall. Most of eastern America is a Deciduous forest. The Deciduous forest is also home to lots of animals. It is home to white tailed dear, eastern chipmunks, and a least weasel.

Exhibit #5 is the Rainforest Biome. This is one of the most interesting biomes. One of the things that sets this biome apart from others is it is home to over 500 plant types. Another thing that sets this biome apart from the others is that it has the most rain fall per year. It can get over 9,000mm per year.

Exhibit #6 is the Grassland biome. The Grassland consits of two main types, the Savanna and the temprate. Another cool thing about the Grassland is it is home to the most animals out of all the biomes.

Exhibit #3 Is the Desert biome. The Desert is very dry. It gets less than 250 mm of rain per year. Compare that to the rainforest! Another cool thing about the desert is that they commonly have sand storms.
